If you are an H-1B worker who has filed, or intends to file, a complaint to the Department of Labor (DOL), the attorney-authors are willing to review the complaint (whether a draft complaint or complaint already filed with DOL) as part of our evaluation of your situation. Please email the attorney-authors to learn more, and to make arrangements for a free and confidential evaluation of your DOL complaint.
Review Process
After you contact us, we will arrange a free and confidential evaluation process with you. After the attorneys’ review of the complaint, we may schedule a brief phone discussion with you about the complaint, lasting up to 30 minutes. This is also free of charge. There would be no further obligation on your part.
Potential Results/Options of Review
Typically, our consultations with H-1B workers end up with one of these recommendations: (1) we give the worker free information to help improve their DOL complaint and/or situation, and we do not assist further; (2) we give free information, and we further offer to represent the worker for future legal work on a contingency (pay-only-if-you-win basis), which is the arrangement we typically have with H-1B worker-clients; or (3) we recommend the worker retain an attorney (whether us or someone else) and recommend the worker pay an affordable out-of-pocket fee, if necessary, for that attorney’s future work.
The process above is free. When the evaluation is complete and any options are presented, whether you agree to an option is your choice, and you would never be charged any fee that you did not arrange and agree to in advance.
If you have any questions, or want to learn more, please feel free to contact us.
